How your Fund grows
print friendly

Perhaps the greatest advantage of the CLF Giving Fund or CLF Legacy Fund is that you are able to claim an immediate tax deduction for your gift – yet take the time to prayerfully consider which charities you wish to support.

Meanwhile, Funds with a balance above $50,000 can grow through one of our investment portfolios.  You may recommend which portfolio(s) in which you'd like your gift invested.

Funds with a balance of less than $50,000 will be exempt from monthly administrative costs.  During the time period that the total balance is below $50,000, investment gains or losses do not affect Fund value.  This provides a stable Fund value, as well as the ability to add to the Fund and distribute from the Fund via Web free of charge.

Funds with a balance that exceeds $100,000 may be placed in more than one investment portfolio.  CLF's policy is to allocate earnings and losses (less administrative costs) to the Fund each month.

Funds with a balance that exceeds $300,000 are available for separately managed investment.

Choose the investment portfolio that meets your needs:
If your Giving Fund or Legacy Fund balance is above $50,000, you may recommend that your gift be placed in one of the five following investment portfolios.

  • Distribution horizon is immediately or within a few years.

Steering a teenager toward God and away from drugs ... just one of the many ways that individuals and families are furthering the Gospel of Jesus Christ through CLF's Funds.
